Update on Grannyhotwheels

Hi everyone,  I just wanted to let ya'll know that I'm okay, actually I'm doing very good lately.  There are just a lot of family issues going on right now and I've been very busy.  My kids couldn't take being away from home and my son worked it out with his boss to work from home and every third week go to Wichita for a couple of days to get everything caught up.  What a blessing!  The Lord sure did answer my prayers,  I have my Makenzie back!  YEA!

Anyway it's been keeping me pretty busy.  They have moved back in with us so everything I had just got moved all back around had to be removed once again.  My poor, poor Zach once again had to be uprooted and ousted from his room.  This time we have made it a little easier on him by having a fourth room added to the satellite, so now he has TV in his "new room".  He doesn't seem to mind because he loves having brother back with him.  They are very close.

Health wise, I have felt very good.  The last 2 to 3 weeks have been extremely great.  Pain has been low and I've had more energy for some reason.  Maybe it's because the weather has been nice for the most part.  We did have a horrible tornado come through a little over a week ago that took the life of a 15 year old girl.  It wasn't very far from where we live.  The tree tops were touching the ground, it was very scary.  I feel so bad for the family that lost their child.  I just can't imagine what horror that would be.

I hope all of you are doing okay.  I haven't forgot everyone,  I still jump in and lurk quite a bit but it seems because I feel so much better that I'm trying to squeeze everything in that I can.  I have over done it a couple of times but I stay in bed the next day to rest and then I'm ready to go again.  I'm loving it right now I wish ya'll could join me.

I'll be praying,
Carol

Hey, Carol!

I'm so, so happy that you're feeling better!  Ee-Haw!  And that your baby's back.  I know that was torture for you, having MacKenzie so far away.  What a close family you have!  You've done something right, haven't you?

I hope you continue to feel well, and not have any time for us!  Go!  Enjoy your life for a change!  Come back when you can.  It's not the same without you.

Love,

Zilla*

So glad you have "your" baby back! God is good, and hears our prayers.  It's wonderful your son only has to be gone for a short time, and can work at home the rest of the time! It sounds like happy chaos. Can he work admist it? LOL Kids are adaptable, and I'm sure your son is so glad to have his brother home, and a TV that it isn't bothering him at all. The tornados were awful. We never know when God will call us home, so just enjoy life to the fullest! But quit overdoing it. Take care, hugs & prayers, Maggie

It's so nice to hear from you!  I'm so glad that everything seems to be going well for you and that you have been feeling great!!   I do understand about being busy and not checking in!  I've done that quite a bit lately too.

I've been feeling quite well lately, but my family has been passing around a stomach bug.  I had one DD hit Saturday night and my other 3 kids got it all within 5 hours late Tuesday night/Wednesday morning!  I haven't had too much time to sit down on the computer, but my house is nice and "sterlized" (LOL).  My poor 16 yo DS was supposed to take his AP Calculus exam yesterday.  Hopefully, they'll let him retake it.  The timing was so bad.

I'm so sorry about the 15 year old girl.  I had heard about it on the news.  So sad.  :-(

I am glad that you and your family are safe.

Take care and God Bless!
Pat :)
