Update on condition

Hi Everyone~~ Just wanted to let you all know, that I am finally getting some answers. However, they are not answers that I particularly wanted to hear. It is believed that I have something called sarcoidosis. I also have emphysema. This is no doubt related to the length of time my condition was shirked off. Sorry that I have not been involved in posting, but I have been reading the posts. Looks like I have to seek answers in another forum. I want to thank you all. You have been wonderful!!!! I wish you all of the best in your quest for diagnoses and help with your disease. This is a great forum~~The best to you all, Cindi

Hi Cindi,  I'm glad to hear you have gotten some answers. Is there another forum here you can post at? I would love to hear what they have told you about the sarcoidosis. I have an abnormal lung MRI and that is one thing that was mentioned, but they have never looked into it futhur.

Glad to hear you've gotten some answers, but am sorry to hear what those answers were. You know you're always welcome to pop in here to say "hi " and let us know how you're doing. Even just for a little comic relief every now and then:) Take care. We'll keep you in our prayers.

Where has the sarcoidosis developed.  I have a freind who has had it for several years.  She strated doing the Marshall Protocol to see if it will help.  It seems to be working for her.

Glad you finally have some answers!

Apparently sarcoidosis can develop anywhere in your body. I have symtoms (symptoms) of it being in multiple areas. It can affect you neurological system your vision and hearing, your lungs, etc.The big kicker is, considering the length of time that I have had symptoms, there is probably irreversible damage. As it causes scarring and so forth. I have been referred to a pulmonologist for further evaluation and I will let you all know what happens.

In sarcoidosis of the lung, they tend to take a wait and see approach. If you begin to develop symptoms, such as a dry cough, chest tenderness, etc. I would ask them to take a look and see if there are any changes that need attending to. I seem to have multiple areas where granulomas have formed and have caused damage that is causing symptoms and so that is why they have referred me to the pulmonologist. The damage that these granulomas do is irreversible. They try to stop the progression. I have been doing some research. It does answer alot of questions for me, as to my symptoms. Best wishes to ya~~Cindi
