Hi All,

I had my tests yesterday ,, and It went ok,, just really tired afterwords.. but I asked for the print out and the guy didn't want to give them to me..lol.. But after I explained to him that i'm paying for the test and that they are mine,,, he gave them to me.

So yea i've got them but have no idea how to read them....:(

anyway i'm feeling like the VEP especially is bad,

I was hoping Quix or someone could help me??

it says LEFT SIDE EYE

My neurologist told me the SEP tests were a waste of time, after I went to have mine done, the operator tried to do the test but the pain in my wrist was too painful and I nearly passed out. Apparnately its very unusual to have a reaction like this.  Anyway they did try and do the test but on minimum, BUT according to my neuro they told him nothing. After chatting with him anyway, he said they were pretty useless for testing anyway, so what is the point LOL.

As to your readings havent a clue. I would wait for the results by your neurologist, when do you see him/her again?

My VEP was positive although the readings were not high, but i still dont have a diagnoses.

I hope someone comes along and helps you with this. Maria

Good Morning,
Don't know a thing about the tests, just wanted to tell you to hang on, it looks like you will get some answers soon. It's so hard not knowing what you have to deal with. When you neuro has multiple test results at once, it might give him a clearer picture. Good for you for iinsisting on a copy of the test! Your right! But it's hard sometimes to get these people to realize this.

Of to Cheyenne Frontier Days in an hour. Better get my clothes on, or I'll miss the plane! LOL Take care of yourself, and try to b patient...hard I know.

Hugs & Prayers, Maggie

Hey Ray -

Me nope for me either.  This is greek to me. If I had to guess, the number up top must be the average range of some sort.  Hope you have your follow up scheduled soon to put your mind at ease.

have a good one,
Shelly

On the VEP, Your results are normal.  Remember that in the P100 (which is the critical number) the "average" is 100msec.  That means that the normal person will be near that and you definitely are.  In most texts the P100 cutoff for being called normal is less than 115msec.  I would have to look up the N145.  But, you are also very close to that number and I suspect it is normal also.
