VESICARE AND MY DYSFUNCIONAL BLADDER

Hey Everyone,

Sorry, I havent been around lately, but we moved into the final house and its been crazy.  Just found out my mom has clots in both her legs and both her lungs, plus she has had an anyeurism near her heart now for 5 yrs.
So its been crazy.

Anyway, I think I told you about being dx with psuedo tumor cerebri.  Well I just started the Diammox for it, hoping it works.

Still not dx.  My neuro says that I cant be having the sx Im having cause theres no lesions in the correct areas to substantiate those sx.  So I been kind of depressed, and 5 neuros later I think Im giving up trying to find a dx.  The  PTC doesnt explain all my other sx.   Anyway,  I had started on the Vesicare 10mg, for my overactive bladder.  Well it appeared to be working, so when I saw my urologist, I told him for the most part it is working.  Before I started the Diamox, my bladder kinda went back to the old dysfunctional way.  Not completely but  the freaquency came back, urges, alittle of the leakage, not as bad, the urge to go and cant, are back.   Has anyone ever had this happen to them, and what could this mean?  Should I go back to see my Doc? I'm so sick of being sick.  I'm so over it. its not funny.

Appreciate any help, or suggestions.
Sandie

Hey
Thanks for responding.  Yes the vesicare worked for about a month, and during that time I had gone to see my urologist.  Then about 3 weeks later, it seemed like I went right back to what was happening before Vesicare.  My question is has this happened to anyone here?

Thanks guys!

Hi Sandie, It is nice to see you back :)

I do apologize that I do not have any info on the bladder issues. ARe you saying that the Vesicare IS working for you?

Sorry you still have no dx and playing the Limbo Game.  So take a break if you need to from the Neuro's, get your Mo-jo back on and then hopefully you will present w/ more clinical signs as well as some other findings.

if you do have MS...It is going to eventually show. The VERY sad part is that while playing the waiting game is that you are not being treated if it is MS....(Hope I made sense..Lol)  You know your body better than anyone else and what is and is not normal for you. Be your own BEST advocate!

Remember to keep all your test results, MRI result, and all other Medical Records for yourself. Make it easier when going to another Neuro to have it all at hand.
Wishing you luck!

Take Care,
~Tonya
