Just as an FYI/reminder, since there are so many posters here: I have periventricular lesions, 3 > 3 mm, "altered signal" in my t-spine "above" (no more specific than that) where I've got a tspine herniation and an arachnoid cyst pushing on my cord. +hoffmans, +rombergs, hyperreflexia, blah blah blah. NormalNormal saline flush CSF. Family hx of MS (paternal grandmother). Sx that I describe have been ongoing now since October. Current neuro says "not MS."
HAPPY BIRTHDAY Sweetie!!!! I'm sorry your feeling crummy, especially on your birthday. I don't have much to offer on the cycling thing but I have heard that can cause worsening of symptoms. I hope you get to feeling better soon. And push lots and lots of fluids. Take care of yourself, Sweetie.
I hope someone in the know answers your question, because it's my question, too. I have a recurrent viral issue, and had some really strong new symptoms after the last outbreak.
I have read that a virus is more likely to cause a exacerbation than trauma, when I was trying to figure out if having hip surgery could bring on new issues. I would think that means a virus can bring on an exacerbation.
Love,
Ada

Anyone else have more input?
