Vitamin D3, You, and Your Children

I just saw the MS Specialist, and she made an interesting recommendation.  She recommended that I go on D3 4000-5000 units and both of my girls go on it as well.

Research has proven that it can help prevent relapses in people with MS . . . Interesting tidbit I learned today.

She also recommends that both of my girls take it, too.  There's a little bit more of a chance that they can develop the disease, too.

Thank you for this information.  I have been curious.  I asked the Neuro to test my son for this and his reply was "low vit D didn't cause this I assure you but it never hurts to take some".  I never thought it caused all these symptoms just thought it may make things better.  I am going to get some today.  Thanks again.

Dr. Courtney said my vitamin D was super-dooper low (I suppose that's a medical term!)  I've been taking the high-dose vitamin D, and it seems to help my energy level.
