Thursday-get a doctor to call me back re BP (tried 3 of my 4 docs)
Friday - attempt PT again since they sent me back home today with my BP 160/116
Last minute PCP appointment Firday AM due to UTI. Oh what fun.
Also, I have an appointment with my MS neuro to get symptoms back in check. Not expecting a Solu-Medrol treatment this time, hopefully.
shellyann,
I agree with PastorDan. There is no reason for you to not be able to have a good time with the rest of the gang. I have to use a wheelchair when there is any extended walking or standing. I am a bit self conscious about having to use it because I've only been limited for a short amount of time and I'm sure that feeling will pass. Anyway, there are times like last night when my husband and friend were walking and I wanted to visit so, my husband pushed me in the wheelchair and I got to enjoy my time with him and visit with our friend. I jokingly told my husband that God was using me as a tool because of him pushing me, he was getting an extra workout that he otherwise would not have gotten. Ha...
Congratulations on your daughter's graduation and I do hope you have a marvelous trip!!!!! Don't let any limitations spoil the fun.
Rent a scooter at the amusement park, and have a wonderful time.
We are headed to Orlando, Florida from Thursday to Sunday. My daughter is graduating from High School, so we are taking this trip in place of her open house, being that we just settled here in the states.
I am excited about the trip, but also ready NERVOUS. We will be doing back to back days at amusement parks. My legs are really weak, and I struggle to stand up for more than 1/2 hour at a time.
Anyways, that is our exciting plans for the week.
Lp on friday May 1st....3T MRI of c-spine on the 8th...then follow-up with the MS specialist on the 11th to review above listed results/plus blood work results...hoping for some kind of diagnosis. Send me hugs and prayers for the LP please, I'm terrified of needles (yes, even the ones they use to numb you), plus when I was a nurse I had to hold babies for their LP's, so I know it can be bad. :-(
Tuesday - physical therapy
Thursday - The BEST: 3T MRIs of my brain, cervical and thoraic spine. Last ones were done about a year ago on a 1.5; hoping these will show more that might lead to answers.

Welcome back PastorDan!
I have Physical Therapy this afternoon. I'm still dealing with a very stubborn muscle spasm in my neck and shoulder. It apparently is pulling up my first 2 ribs which are affecting a nerve. VERY PAINFUL!!!
Tuesday: Follow up appt. w/Endocrinologist to deal with my pre-diabetes and PCOS(excessive facial hair) PastorDan, you might appreciate this one. Ha.
Also, Follow up appt. w/Internal Medicine Doc to follow up on previous appt.
Thursday: Physical Therapy
Back at work this morning.
PCP appointment Friday AM, & hoping & praying to hear something -- anything -- on all the recent tests between now and then. I did hear of one issue last week confirmed in a blood test, & they've started me on hormone replacement therapy as a result. (You ladies need to make sure I've washed up before we shake hands, so you don't start growing facial hair.)
The rest of the week outside of work hours will be spent in trying to rearrange the house and mind, etc., to eventually help me move on with life.
Lucky me - I get an overnight at the sleep clinic tonight. Here's hoping they will catch my nightly episodes on their monitors and help us all figure out what wakes me up.
Friday AM is an echocardiogram, the cardiologist wants to take a good look again and see if the angina can be captured
- was discussing shipping me off the CC if he can't figure it out.
Work all week and knee arthroscopy on Friday - crutches most of weekend I should think :-)
