Weird toes can you HELP

I've been a bit unsteady on my feet today no more than other bad days I had a lie in eventually getting dressed around midday although I had been up and about a bit before this. As I took my slipper of I looked down and to see my toes on my left foot had suddenly developed a gap between the second and third toe (counting the big toe as number one) My 4 & 5 toes a quite numb this is not unusual but why have I suddenly got a GAP? Having stretched the toes and manipulated them with my hands it's still there, what's going on?

Anyone got any ideas.

It's interesting that you brought this up.  I have noticed similar changes over the past 6 months.  I have toes that have large gaps and some toes that are curled under.  Hopefully someone will have some knowledge on this.

I wonder if it is spasticity.  My toes go down bilaterally, like a dancers feet.

well I recall getting huge cramps in my feet and toes in my youth while mucking around in swimming pools. My toes would get gaps like that and curl, sounds very similar.

So maybe it IS some kind of muscle cramp/spasm similar to normal old cramp? Just MS related?
