I have been prescribed medication after medication, and nothing seems to be working. I have a neurologist, but I think maybe I need to see a Specialist for MS. I have been placed on three different types of Meds. for MS. I am very frustrated. Can someone please offer some advice?
Hi i'm going through this posted earlier. everyone told me to try baclofen i have tried diazapam, temazpam and clonazapam someone told me of a herbel cream too rhoz something.
Are yours all over like mine in my face, hands, feet, tummy, breathing and swallowing effected, calves, thighs, they jerk and twich and feel like there in conctrete.
I am dealing with the dreaded spasms too. I've been on a few different drugs, but finally found a combination of meds that helps me best.
Have you tried a combination of drugs? Someone recently on our forum talked about taking baclofen and amityptaline. That is somewhere to start if you haven't already.
As for me I take zanaflex and cymbalta. So far it is keeping the spasms at least tolerable.
I hope you find something that works and soon. Please let us know if we can be of any more help.
Anyway, the Baclofen did the trick and I hardly have any spasms/ jerks now. It even helped with headaches that none of my medicines seemed to help.
Good luck
Erin :)
Welcome to the forum, and if you've already been here, sorry to have missed you.
What have you tried so far? How long have you been dx'd and dealing w/the spasms?
Hope you are able to get back to us. I'm on baclofen and it' keeps me fairly spasmless.
