What does this mean? MS?

MRI Brain/w-wo contract----Bilateral cerebral white matter has mild amount of small patchy areas of increased signal without mass effect or contrast enhancement. Clinical correlation is suggested!

Axial FLAIR weighted images demonstate mild amount of small, less than 6 mm size, poorly marginated areas of increased signal within the bilateral cerebral white matter which are greatest at the subcortical regions with right cerebral hemisphere more involved than left cerebral hemisphere.  My MD states my HX of migraines could result in this finding. Could this be true or do I need to consult with a neurologist?

Could be many things.  This sounds like it was read by a radiologist, not a neuroradiologist.  The anatomic locations are not well identified and the shape and orientation of the lesions is not defined.
I have no idea what a "mild amount" is, but one are two in one area could be migraine related.  Several lesions located bilaterally is not typical of migraine disease.  

You have not given us your age (I'm assuming 46), sex symptoms, etc.  I really think this MRI should be reviewed by a Neurologist and compared with any signs found in a neurologic examination.

Yes I am 46, for the past 8 months I've been having left-sided facial numbness, eye sight is fuzzy and dropping items for no apparent reason.  Will get a consult with Neuro.  Time will tell...Your neighbor in Colorado
