Whats up this week??

Hi everyone,

Just wondering what’s happening this week with everyone?

I may well be a bit early on posting this thread, but lets us get it going with our appointments, P T, etc….. As for me? I have a VERY bad week coming up that I will post a thread  tomorrow or whenever I feel ‘’ready’ for it :/

Hugs and love to all,

Debs xxxxxx

Waiting with fingers and legs crossed for Tuesday when I see the Uro-Gyne for catastrophic flooding.  Pray for meds, or at least a cork!

Fridany I get to have a healthy, strong molar extracted.  It doesn't have a surface to contact - so it's useless - and it has "super-erupted".  drat.

I had that test years ago Jen and the worst part was how loooooong it took as they kept taking pictures until the breakfast exited stage right.  The tainted OJ was a snap.  It zipped right through (I think that one was done on a different day.)

My radiology tech must have minored in culinary skills because he cooked up some tasty toxic sludge.  Would have been better with rye toast and sausage patties though.  I guess anything tastes good when we're not allowed to eat for hours before the test.

Thanks for the well wishes.  Like everyone who's been together that long - some has been great, some.....not so much.  But he's still willing to keep me around.

I started IV Solumedrol this morning. The first of 5 days.

I ordered a dog stroller while I was hooked up. I look forward to taking my dog out in it!

Toxic breakfast Wednesday morning [insert sarcastic yippee here] for stomach emptying test to check for gastroparesis; then a VER and finally a follow up with neurologist to discuss all the conditions I DON'T have *sigh*.

Congratulations Mary!

Friday I have SSEP tests. Not really looking forward to it but surely this will show some kind of abnormality, my legs and arm goes numb tingles etc....so I'm hoping this will show this. As at the moment I think I need something in back and white for my neuro to give me some meds to help with all the symptoms.

Work a few days, make a third attempt to hook up with the hairdresser and get something done about my head dressing, start new agility class with the pup, follow-up with the cardiologist, celebrate 37 years married (Wednesday) and do the Walk on Saturday.  I'm tired before I start.

Monday morning appointment with PCP to make sure I've recovered from the recent infection.  Getting nosebleeds and still feel I am not quite over what happened, but I'll let her decide the next course of action if any.

IV catheter was taken out today after my last treatment - hooorrray!

Also waiting to hear from neuro's office in the morning about a possible appointment they are trying to squeeze me in for.  Neuro wants to go over my last MRI and already mentioned before that he wants me to start a different DMD.  Thanks to those who shared their interferon DMD experiences with me.  I'll keep an open mind about it.

Audrey, we will pray for this child, and for the families involved.

Me? Brain MRI tomorrow 11:00 AM EDT.  Praying they find something to explain something.  Will probably drive Tim to orthodontist appointment & soccer practice after school; Nancy expects a full day tomorrow.

Tuesday I will work on contract to sell our old parsonage; after today it sounds like we're very close to having a deal, albeit a complicated one.  This would be a very big but very positive step for the church, as the house has been an albatross around their neck for a number of years.  Buyer is my barber and his wife, who are also in ministry.

Wednesday afternoon I am hosting another meeting of the pastors in our zone.  PM will bring usual weekly prayer meeting.

Thursday & Friday will go to sermon prep, by and large.

Just saw something somewhere that made me think something was happening Saturday; I hope I figure it out before then.

All of the above prefaced by "Lord willing," of course, and subject to modification as determined by radiology, neuro, overall health, and tax accountant (extension filed).

Y'all have a blessed one.

Hiya, Debs!

Monday - Yoga
Wednesday - Tysabri infusion
Thursday  - Yoga
Friday - Hopefully a bike ride if the weather cooperates...

I started the wheels turning for a visit to UCSF's MS center.  Hopefully my neuro's assistant faxed the stuff she needed to...

Have a great week, everybody.

I'll be counting the days until my first appointment with a new neuro on April 27 and trying to full medical records toghether and finalize my timeline.

I'll also be crossing my fingers that my sx calm down at least for a few days; these past 3 months have been full of a myriad of progressively worsening symptoms. I've missed too many days of work, but fortunately have a very understanding boss and can telecommute.

Lastly, I'm going to try to recover from the stress of the past 4 days. My son's girlfriend has a very complicated history and cut herself here on Wednesday after finding out a friend died. Her father then beat her the next day. She'd been with us for the past 4 days, but my son and I became very concerned as her behavior became more and more odd. We did not know if it was from a concussion or dissociative disorder. I have just come home from the emergency room. The medical professionals were getting ready to do a CT scan, but felt that she did not have a concussion. Please pray for her; this poor 17 year old girl has been through hell in her life, which thoroughly explains a dissociative disorder.

Not much.... which is great for a change. This is the last week of classes for students and then next week is final exams.  As you can imagine, the office will get pretty busy with all sorts of paniced students and faculty as they realize the end is here.

I'm counting to NEXT week for my massage appointmnet if I get through this week first.

VV - just be yourself and use the best description you can think of.  A good neuro will want to investigate further.

be well, Lu

I have my first appointment with a neurologist this week. I'm just hoping I can make him to understand how my symptoms are affecting me. I mean when my hands jerk. Will I be able to explain how it happens and it make sense to him.
