Thank you, thank you, thank you. You guys are something else – thoughtful, informative and oh so dear.

It’s 7:00 am in the UK and I was doing my usual check on my cyber family before I spent the day with my family here when I found this post started by Lulu. So today I shall smile and count my blessings.

I spent the first 19 years of my MS life with sx that I was able to push through and still work and bring up a family (helped by role reversal with my hubbie) I just had  the odd couple of weeks off work here and there when things got bad. But then last year it really stopped me in my tracks and I hit that wall like so many of you.

I spent about 3 months off work and then about another 3 working from home so had ample time to start looking on the Internet for information. That’s when I found you guys and my days have been so different I now check in at least twice a day first thing in the morning and again at night to see how my other family all are.

I have learned loads, made special friendships, had so many laughs and often felt humble in the light of the way so many of you just cope and stay so positive.

Well that’s my platform for the day spent and enough serious stuff for one birthday.

Sunnytoday said she was bringing marble cake and ice-cream so I hope it is huge as there are a lot of us for it to go round but then it is the only cake today that won’t go straight to my hips.

Thanks Lulu for the lymeric I intend to do just that.

Thanks Quix for your knowledge and friendship and thanks Lulu, ess and shell for their support, friendship and hard work and to everyone else for just being there, and especially to Jane from Indiana :-)
