Why aren't I getting notifications from MedHelp?

by SickMomma_PDX, Jul 05, 2009 04:29PM
Ok, this probably isn't where this question belongs, but several other people have mentioned in other threads that they're not getting their notifications anymore either.

I was hoping that by putting it in its own topic, perhaps someone who knows what's going on would see the question and know what's up.

Thanks!!

Hi there, I was one of the ones that stopped recieving notifications.  I mentioned it on the forum, and Lulu notified MedHelp.  It took a while , but I do get notifications now, though not the newsletter that some have mentioned.

You might send a note to Lulu if she doesn't pop on and respond to this, or ess or sllowe, whoever sees this first.

I finally got 50 notifications at once, lol!

I just kept checking in, finding notes and stuff, responses on other forums; it sure was nice to have my notifications back!

Hope they fix yours soon.

I wish I had the magic wand and used it to fix Kathy's problem, but it wasn't me.  There were some site difficulties at the time and I was led to believe that they had been fixed.

I've noticed I'm not getting email notifications at all right now, but I am on here pretty much every day, so I don't worry about the notices.

You may want to go back to your personal settings and make sure all the appropriate notice boxes are selected.

Here's to more email notices!

If you go to MY MEDHELP and look at your personal page you will see a tab labeled MY HOME.

If you select MY HOME, on that page to the right you will see a box labeled NOTIFICATIONS.  I n that section you will see notes and messages for you .

there are lots of other items on this page too -check out some of the newer items MedHelp has added.

I hope this is helpful,
Lu

Hi Lu,

Thanks for the advice. I don't have a box labeled notifications. But when I select MY HOME, and then go to Account Settings, I have the box checked for getting notifications. But I'm definitely not getting them. They're not in my junkmail folder either. :-(

Ah well, I appreciate the help. I just have such a bad memory these days that I can't seem to remember to get here daily unless I get that email. But I'll get here as often as I can manage it!

Thanks again!!

Hi all,
I did hear back from the MedHelp gurus and they tell me that they are aware of the software glitch and are working on the fix - they hope to have it resolved soon.  The problem is not on our end!

Yay!!

Thanks, Lu! I really appreciate your contacting the MedHelp gurus and reporting back that they're working on the problem!

And phew! It's a relief to know that it wasn't something I inadvertently did that made the notifications stop!
