Wishforchange - checked in and here's an update

by Lulu54, Jan 03, 2009 04:00PM
I just heard from Wish and she said it was ok to pass this on - perhaps the doctors there finally have a clue as to why she continues to be so ill - the tests results are from the Lupus clinic people.  Wish continues to be without a computer and using the free public access ones. I'm sure she will check her next time she can so feel free to add to this is you have any insight to give her regarding this IgM level.  - Lu

"If anyone asks about me you can tell them about the high IgM readings, but is too early to confirm the diagnosis.  Am so used to not being diagnosed cannot believe that things can be different.  The normal levels are between 0 and 7.  My level was nearly 13, sounded high to me."

Hi Wish,

I hope you get your dx soon and can get started on a treatment to help you be in better health.

Take care of yourself, you are in my thoughts and prayers!

I'm glad Wish is able to get some computer time!

I don't know anything about IgM for lupus testing.  I know there are IgG and IgM Western blots used for Lyme testing, but maybe that's not the same thing.

OK, so this is not an informed response.   But I do hope that Wish is getting closer to answers and proper treatment!

Thanks for the update, Lu!  Be sure to keep us posted with whatever Wish can share.

It is exciting when any of us "Limbolanders" receives another clue that could possibly take them one step closer to a dx.
Good luck, Wish, and all the best!
