Zopiclone anyone! and a shy question!

uk2
My doctor wanted me to come off my diazapam as she was worried i was getting addicted and that it was effecting my mood (which i agreed but it did work)

I took the zopiclone about 11pm and waited to drift off to sleep which i did of my own accord and not the zopiclone i soon woke up with my heart racing and just feeling really odd but not at all sleepy i stayed up till 3pm then gave in and took some diazapam and went back to bed.

My mouth this morning feels all numb and my thoart is tight but its easing now but my heart still feels funny but my mouth is dry and has a blood like taste in it which i know is one of the side effects, i rung the chemist this morning and she said it was a reaction ( you dont say!!) and too stop them, she suggested others one begining with a p presidone a antihistimine i think, so ill go back to the doctors on Monday, but since coming off the diazapam iv noticed my legs are so painfull again and tight and my hands the diazapam does relax my muscles but i know its addictive.

I would put up with the side effects but the thing is it didnt even make me sleep!!  i just want something to knock me out.

Being feeling really odd last night too sitting on sofa and thought i was falling "i shout out whats going on" and my husband gives me a strange stare lol  truely im losing the plot.

AND GIRLS ONLY FROM THIS POINT!!!  SHY QUESTION

me and my husband actually managed to have gental man and wife stuff last night LOL and after i had you know (too shy to put it on here) i could not feel my legs or move them and i dont know if that is cause it was more movement then iv done in a long time LOL or that it was just a thing that happens after you know!!   its been so bloody long maybe its just the excitement and all lol

Ill just go into a corner now and be shy!!  God i hope none minds me bringing this up!!

Hi

ill ask when i go for my tests on the 24th but thats if i see him its under him at the neuroscience ward, but otherswise it has to be a emerency to see him its my GP that gives me my meds.

Iv never taken that diazapan regular and been up and down with it so its prob my own fault i feel like i have over the last few days.

But ill never touch that sleeping tablet again i feel so messed up in the head and body.

Ill book a appointment and talk to her about this baclofen.

Im only on 200mgs for the spasms of quinine.

Thanks

ask your neuro about baclofen ,its effective on reducing them.

For the diazapan I take 5 mgs twice a day 3 times if need to.Some days I only take it once.

For night time I take the ativan as the shelf life in the system is not as long as the diazapan.

I was taking quinine, now in the states it can only be sold as qualaquin.I was taking quinine 3x a day 500mgs for the spasms until it started messing with my ears.So I had to stop taking it.

First talk with your DR about decreasing and increasing the diazapan.I make sure I take it 8 hours apart and the same time everyday ,this way I don't experience mood swing with drawls and my system is adjusted to it.

Hi Hun,

It was great to feel like a women again!! it might not of been swinging from the light shade!! but it was in my mind lol the numbness lasted about ten mins and they were odd for a while but who cares!! but i was a little scared it has happen to a lesser degree and i do get on off numbness there anyway that travels down my legs, i cant mention it to my consultant but i have mentioned the numbness so thats why im having a MRI on the pelvic region to check the nerves there.

Yes im feeling more positive and that sure helped.

But the drug reaction didnt help, been off my head all day today still getting better by the hour.

and man wife stuff is the best pain killer in the world they should bottle it lol.

yes i might mention my RLS next time i see the neuro.

Take care x

To comment on your "girl" question...

I take it from what you said and even what you didn't say, that it was DERN GOOD.  I would suspect that the numbness in your legs may have simply been from not only excitement, but ultimate pleasure and the length of time it had been since you made love.

If the numbness went away shortly after your fantastic hubby/wife adventure...then I wouldn't worry too much about it.  If you feel comfortable enough, it may be worth mentioning to your doctor, if it happens again.  I hope the numbness doesn't, but hope the "hubby/wife" thing does.  What a way to relax.  Great medicine and doesn't cost a thing...

Oh, decrease your diazepam SLOWLY.  That's not one drug that you can stop in one dose.  Do it slowly.  For Restless Leg Syndrome, which it sounds like you DO have, I take Klonopin.  Which unfortunately, is another drug in the same medicine family, but which is the only one that works for my RLS.

Have a GREAT DAY sweet girl....And I am glad that you and hubby were able to spend some quality time together, as a couple.  Good for you..it shows that your depression is lifting.  Heather

Yes its good he understands, thanks for the tip ill try that.

i was taking 10mg at night along with quinine tablets but iv reduced it to come off so gone down to nothing but took 4mg again last night and ill stick to that again.

I asked my GP if there was any other drug she could give me for the spasms but she said no!

Im also on 450mg a day lyrica when not in a flare and 525 of lyrica when in a flare iv not got much scope with the lyrica now as 600mg is the legal amount you should take.

Im uk based could i get that here?

What strength are you on? mine is a low does so im not sure why the doctor was worried i found at 6mg at night i suffered less moods then at 10mg, also maybe i went up too much too soon, how should i decrease and increase the diazapan?

I do notice the difference in my hands feet and legs, my mum had rest less leg sydrome and i wonder if i have that sometimes as i do need to keep moving them but not on the diazapam.

I'm glad your hubby is understandable, a little hint take the diazapan before your gentleman and wife
fun,it helps a great deal.

I don't know what strength your diazapan is I take it twicw a day and if the spasms are bad or if I'm extremely fatigued or know I'm gonna be moody,I devide the doseage through out the day.

Have you tried the baclofen for the spasms?

Thanks hun for answering my question so shy about those sort of things kind of spoiled our moment too and its been so long too!! never mind my husband understood.

My heart has calmed down abit now i do get palpatation if i take decongestants (my spelling is awfull) so maybe this sleeping tablet had that in it!!

I still cant feel the inside of my mouth and my head is all over the place!!  but my lips are coming back now but i still cant taste anything and feel like im sucking a penny and my chest is tight. Im asssured it will pass, im going back on the diazapam whatever the doctor says it was working for my muscle my moods i will just have to deal with unless she can give me a different drug to help.

Take Care

I'm so glad you called the chemist. You were having a reaction.

I'm also on diazapan and have been for 2 years, the doseage has never went up and it helps in combination with the baclofen for the muscle spasms.my new neuro wants me off of it for the same reasons. But I figure if the doseage hasn't been increased and its working why change it.

I take ativan at night to sleep its on the same line as the diazapan.

Now for the shy question, yes it could be from all you stated movement ,position and so forth.
