acute relapses

hi i have been having ongoing symptoms for sometime now but they reflared at the beginning of june my dr is referring me to ms clinic so have that appt. set up for the fall. anyways my question is about acute relapses i awoke at approx. 5am with the worst headache i have ever had in my life i began to vomit after about 1hr of this headache took a couple of t3 which did not take away the pain but took the edge off it and serc for vertigo and now feel weak but still have headache so is this typical for ms

hi i still donot feel rightstill have the headache although now i am keeping it under control withmeds i am wondering if the vomiting goes along with the vertigo and headache as the side of my face became numb again as well. which is gone this am.please explain exacebation acute

Yeah, I agree with Stephanie - I would talk to your doctor, and possibly call the ER.  Headaches can be a symptom of something more serious than a flare - I know, sounds weird to say that, but a flare is simply inflammation of the brain.  A headache could indicate that you've had a small stroke.

I think the general medical advice is if you ever have a headache that is "the worst ever" you should go to the ER.  If the meds aren't helping, I'd head out to the hospital if I were you.
