adjuvant in flu vaccine

Does anyone know anything about this?

Apparently most of the Canadian batch will have an adjuvant in it; the US batch does not.  On the evening news they said that the adjuvant enables a reduced dose of the vaccine for the same effect.  Pregnant women were advised not to have the one with the adjuvant as the effect on the fetus has not been established.

If anyone has knowledge of this, please share!

BTW, I had my seasonal flu shot at work today, so far so good, no apparent side effects.  The nurse encouraged me to get the H1N1 and said especially because of my MS she would be very concerned for me should I contract that virus.

Unfortunately we won't have it for awhile and in the meantime I'll be travelling, landing at LaGuardia in a few weeks which I'm sure is a breeding ground for all sorts of nasty bugs given the international traffic going through there.  I'll be well stocked with hand sanitizer, in the tiny bottles they still allow on board.
