thanks for the reply Zilla, what is the Romberg test?
Hey~
Doesn't it always happen like that? You feel crummy forever, then when you finally go see the doctor, you've never felt better? I HATE that!
Don't worry too much. In the meantime, we should get you started on a nice, tight time line to bring with you to your appointment. This is to help you help your doctor put symptoms into some sort of order. If you go to the "Search this Community" tab in the upper right (not too upper), you can search for Timeline 101, written by Wanna. It's great information to get you started.
Work on that, get your test reports together, and just try to chill until then. Easier said, I know.
Until then, hopefully you will continue to feel "cooled down" with the symptoms. I don't think though, there's ever been a time when I haven't had hyper reflexes in the last couple of years, even though my symptoms were stable. Or nearly non-existent. If it is MS, it will certainly show up some time. You just have to keep your neuro interested in the meantime, unfortunately. Have you ever had the Romberg test? I fail it every time, even when feeling well. There are things your doc can see even if you are doing well. (Of course -- I have no real diagnosis yet! So listen to me with a grain of salt, I guess!!)
Anyway, try to relax, and spend this time getting yourself prepared.
Feel well,
Zilla*
