hi folks hope you are all as well as can be ??
i think it went well??
he took a thorough history off me asking lots of questions all the time .
then said i believe your old scans were not conlusive so you have been refered to me  and went on to say that when MS is suspected no one test will prove it because its a prosses of illimination . so therfore we need to keep testing till we get the answers.

he then performed a very thorough neuro exam that showed... possitive hoffmans,clonus in both ankles,hypereflexes,increased mustle tone, and left sided weakness. and the test when you close your eyes i nearly fell backwards lol ! it took him a good thirty five mins doing the exam ..

after he said we will take some bloods today to get the ball rolling lol
and would look at my scans for himself and order more scans to be done again .

he said he wanted to see me agian in four months so made an appt for oct 31st
and would get the tests ordered in the meantime so he would have the results for our next appt in oct
what a nice guy he was and feel that i am getting somewhere closer
at least i was not dismissed

Awesome that he is taking it head on and willing to listen to you. I hope that he runs all the right tests and gets you answers real soon.

Waiting the 4 months is not so bad because he said he will be getting the ball rolling by getting tests ordered for you. I think you are on the right track with this neuro. YAY!!!! Its about time.

Sorry you have to wait so long for your return appointment. The waiting is the hard part, but it sounds like you have a  good doctor and he took a good amount of time with you and your examination.
