blindness

My question is how many on this forum actually did go blind in one eye prior to being diognosed with ms?
Did your vision come back, worsen before it got better? How long did it take to come back?
I'm 25 and can't face a permanent blindness in one eye. I have been told it typically lasts for 2 weeks, I'm at the 2 1/2 week mark, then I get told it can last up to a year. It seems like whatever the DR thinks I want to hear, that is what they will tell me.
I am going to some Nuerologist to have him interpret my MRI, and I was already diagnosed with optic neuritis. Maybe he can tell me if I will ever see out of my left eye again. The blindness is driving me crazy and the painfull migranes (migraines) are almost worse.
Can anybody out there relate?
