buzzin' like mad

by pennst8r, Apr 26, 2008 10:58PM
So you know my feet (and likely yours) buzz frequently more so as the day goes on, at least when I'm more symptomatic. I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar on stage today, my fav. The original actor playing the lead role (yes, he's getting up there, but he's still got it!).

So when I clapped, my hands vibrated for a few minutes. At the end, when you are clapping for what seems an eternity, I vibrated from my hands to my shoulders for at least 10 to 15 minutes. What's up with that? And no dirty jokes from you, Quix, lol! It was a G rated show;) (sorry, I read your g-spot joke...too funny)

Whaat!  Maybe I have a G-rated-spot!  I like JC Superstar, too!  In college we had linen exchange every Friday after lunch.  We would put the album on (yes, vinyl, circa 8-track, pre-cassette, pre-pre-pre-CD) , make our beds and brush our teeth, because Mary had bad enamel and had to brush all the time, so we brushed with her.  I know, TMI.

Reading here for a year, I think all paresthesias are were with fatigue.  And fatigue seems to begin the moment we get up.

Some of my oddest symptoms occured after a concert.  The floor was vibrating with the sound.  When we left four hours later, I could still feel it.  The odd part - if I touched the back of my right calf, I felt it near my ankle on the front side.  This lasted almost two weeks.

I also used a Van de Graaff generator (static sphere, that makes your hair stand on end) in four of my classes last year.  I had zaps, twitches, and buzzing for days.  I assume the static charge and my nervous system didn't jive.

I now avoid the lawnmower, power washer, etc.  I'm looking for a way to avoid the washing machine, broom, dishwasher, and stove . . . no luck so far :-)

Hi Penn

Well at least you were vibrating for a good cause..  Aaahhh JC   .. I moved to Boston 2wks out of High school(class68, the best). And yup I had the vinyl also, we'd play it everyday as loud as we dared , jumping around on the furniture , singing along ..  what a good time . Thanks for the memory. :)

Fatigue and paresthesia , sounds right .

Take care

Think how you are saving on batteries though! haha Sorry couldn't help myself.

I haven't been to a concert of any kind in eons. I think the last time I was in my late teens. I do get bad buzzing after using the lawn mower though. It too can last a couple of days.

Hope it eases up for you soon
Hugs
