can flares resolve with out treatment?

I'm still a rookie, in limboland, and this is only my second dibilatating flare. (Or at least what I think is a flare) Neuro is still unsure of a diagnosis.

My ?~ Can this resolve without treatment? I'm on week 5 of weakness, unable to walk or use my arms for long periods of time AND I am SICK of it! I'm trying very hard to be patient, and positive, but I am so ready to feel "normal" again!

Can it go away on it's own?

As for treatment do you mean steroids? The answer is yes. I have heard many MS Specialists say steroids help reduce inflammation they do not help the course of MS so a person can never be on Steroids. What they can do is shorten and reduce the intensity of the flair. Steroids are used for many things besides MS. The thing is some people do really well on them and others they have little or not effect. It is trial and error. If symptoms are caused by inflammation when the inflammation dies down the symptoms will go away sometimes it takes awhile.

I meant steroids, yes. I have a hard time understanding why my Neuro won't put me one them.
