cant sleep bladder problems

Hello, I can't sleep because I keep having an urge to go to the bathroom but just a tinkle comes out. Now my eyes really hurt from not enough sleep. I am awaiting my MRI results for my orbits because the neuro thinks I have retina tares or dtachment starting and optic nerve damge. Now, I have this bladder infection or kidney problem. Yeaks. Is this ever going to end? I know. NO.
Well, just wondering if there was anyone out there going through this same thing.

I did what you're describing for years before I could get a doctor to take me seriously and then found I had a neurogenic bladder.  I am not able to empty my bladder, only just a little at a time.  I was diagnosed with this 12 years ago and taught to use a self-catheter.  Life was much, much better after that.  Then 6 years ago, because of cognitive issues, I was diagnosed with MS.  I2 years ago, I was having a sonogram for other issues and they asked me to empty my bladder, which I tried to do, and then did another sonogram, and they said your bladder's still full.  Finally, I got a doctor to listen to me and he did further testing.  This was my gynecologist at the time.  My advice is to keep pestering your docs for some answers.  Don't let them tell you you're just drinking more or too much caffeine, etc.  Good Luck.

I'm not dx with MS, but I've had a couple of urinary tract infections in my life.  It sounds like what you're experiencing--gotta go, gotta go, but hardly anything comes out.  For me it was because there really wasn't much in there, but the irritation made me need to go.  Went to the dr and yes, it was an infection, had a little blood in it, and she gave me pills--one to kill the bugs, and another to ease the pain or discomfort or whatever you might describe it as so I could get some sleep.  The stuff that turns your pee bright orange.  Find some old crummy underwear and get thee to the doctor post haste.  Good luck.

I have also been experiencing this but haven't told anyone.  It doesn't seem to be every night and is sporatic so I don't think mine is an infection.  I have so many new symptoms popping up that I try to ignore the ones that don't happen daily.  I too had wondered about others having this also- mostly you just hear about the other end of the spectrum (incontinence).
