Will try very hard not to write rubbish. Apologies to peson I wrote to whilst on pills, you know who you are - made up my own language courtesy of typing with my eyes shut.
Can't remember if updated all, thanks for replying to post re hospital. Good news and bad. Bad news so bad can't share it but good news - well it's good in comparison. No internal bleeding, had very thorough check up for that. But, believe it or not have broken ANOTHER bone when I fell. Could not fall normally so my arm took the whole impact and elbow is shattered, swollen to twice its size but had spindly arms anyway so now just look like a female popeye. Was told best not to plaster it up as the loose elbow fragment would just float around regardless and best to keep mobility in arm, just a nuisance as is so hard to walk on crutches with a broken arm. Hey, that's the good news okay. I'l leave the bad news to your imagination.
Disability tribunal today. Doctor just railroaded over top consultants letters and conculded all was psychological. Even the sleep study. I had a narcolepsy test where evey two hours in the day I had to go to sleep in the day. She didn't get it. She concluded, not realising this was a TEST, that as I spent so much of the day asleep I that was the reason I couldn't sleep at night, even though the day test was after the night one. A woman of science, clearly. Tried telling her the opposite was the case but in one ear out the other.
Another of the three womae there kept askig me if I needed to go to the bathroom at night. I told her I did need to but couldn't as have retention so she said so you wet the bed then? No, I go into retention. So you don't need the bathroom at night? Yes, I do, but I have retention. Ah....so you cannot get to the bathroom? Correct, I am in too much pain to get out of bed. Ah, so you wet the bed then? No, because I have retention. Ah...so you don't need the bathroom then? Sigh. Interruption from colleague - just answer the question! Do you need the bathroom at night? Yes. but I have .......you get the gist.
Oh, and apparently double vision caused by misalignment of the pupils is a psychological problem, only.
And, lupus experts can just look at you and diagnose you immediately or for sure you do not have it.
And...anaemia does not make you dizzy.
And....physiological results are of less value than the assumptions prior to them. So if I have a demylenated nerve, that can be ignored, as it was never referred to in the query sheet, and.. only the nerves working the best are to be recorded.
Can I hold a knife to cut vegetables? No, it is too dangerous, I drop things now. Look at the EMG results, I have demylenation in my elbow. But I am talking about your hand. But the nerve originates from the elbow and affects my hand. Look, i'm not interested in your elbow, your hand is fine. Is it? Yes. you are holding a crutch. But that is not the same as holding a knife, it does not matter if I open my hand or hold the crutch loosely, and look at the EMG results. But the EMG results are talking about your elbow, and I asked about your hand. Sigh. Interruption from colleague. Just answer the question! Is your hand weak? Yes. But you are holding a crutch. I do not have to grip the crutch, I drop things when I grip them. Where'e the proof? In the EMG. But that talks about your elbow. Sigh. etc.......
Some day eh?
Have loads more to say about other stuff but pill kicking in. Stay well and thanks for getting me to get checked out. Was told it was highly possible my liver had been bruised and that could have been serious. Was lucky, but not to know it - you did the right thing telling me to go.
Eyes shutting....now!#
