my daughter recently ran a marathon and developed a blister, the next morning (monday) her foot and lower leg were red, hot, and painful. She went to an ER and was diagnosed with cellulitis, given keflex and ultram. The next day leg was worse, so she returned to ER and they gave her bactrim to take with the keflex. On the next morning the foot and leg were ice cold and numb so again she went to the ER (she did not go to her PCP because she was about 400 miles from home) and they diagnosed her with compartment syndrome, told her to alternate ice and heat and to keep leg elevated and not to drive home until sunday. She then drove home on sunday and saw her PCP on monday, who sent her to an orthopod. When the swelling goes down they plan to test the pressures in her leg but for now they have her in a boot non weight bearing because of severe foot drop. My question is would taking magnesium and B vitamins help with any of the nerve damage that has occured -thanks-
