what kinda problems have you had
Well done and the first shot must be the worst. I do seem to remember that sometimes people have a reaction some time after they have started so hope that this does not happen for you. Everyone is different and reacts in different ways. Anyhow at least you are on a DMD and this is a positive step forwards.

I take Copaxone and have had few problems with it. I have been on it for over a year. I'm glad to hear that you are taking a DMD and wish you success with it!

Good for you! Giving yourself a daily injection can kind of be a pain but look at it as taking control of the miserable MS by injecting this DMD to fight it.
If the injection gives you pain there are lots of little tricks to help. I think we have posts around here with suggestions but if you can't find them, just ask again.
Good luck!
Erin :)
Congratulations on your first injection, almost number 2 by now. It is a pain in the kester to take a shot every day, but soon they will become old hat and will barely interfere with your day.
If you do get a welt, put some ice on the area, wrapped up in a small towel and ice the area for about 10 minutes. If it's still bothering you, you can ice the area off and on, until the welt doesn't bother you. I think it's safe to say that all those that take Copaxone have had some problems with welts and stinging, but it seems to get less and less over time. So hang in there....and great job on being so brave.
All the best,
Heather
Good for you! I hope you have no problems with it.
I'll be taking my 9th Rebif shot tonight, no major problems so far.
It's kind of a nice feeling to at least do something to try and combat the progression of this disease....I just wish there was more we could do....someday I guess.
Take care
