dont no what to do next

for the last 2 years ihave had everything from spasms to elecric shock feelings tinglin face not been able to use hands or legs mri evoke test lumber done neo first visit possible ms second visit no answers can any one help

The first thing to do is take a deep breath and try to relax because we need to know more ..... facing the prospect of having MS can be very scary and finding out as much as you can about this disease is one of the best things you can do to help yourself.

Can you take some time and contruct a brief timeline for us to look at that includes your symptoms and doctor experiences?

HI LULU it all started 5 years ago i had numnes on the right side my hand face n leg neu done mri he said ihad tia over migrain it all started up again 2years ago was at gp every week for 6 months with numb fingers back arm n leg spasms right hand side sent me for xrays all clear put me on baclafen gabpetine at this pont everything was gettin worse ihad ants cralin under my skin eletric shock feelins my legs goinginto spasms so i was fallin over gp said he thinks i have ms sent me to neu first visit possible ms or stroke disease mri lumber p evoke test done blood works done every test claer  he said today lessions at front right side no stroke disease no ms but does no what is wrong there is a neu problem but what he does not no *** back in 1 year if i get any worse get my gp to refer me again dont no were to turn there has been alot more symtoms (symptoms) over the last year

Hi Kizzie,
That sounds all too familiar around here.  Many people have these symtoms (symptoms) that sound so much like MS but the tests don't back up the clinical evidence.  We have a lot of members here who are in limboland - that place where you know something is very wrong with your body but the doctors can't quite figure out what is wrong.  

At least the neurologist seems to think there is something neurological wrong even though he doesn't know what.  The things you describe here definitely sound like MS symptoms but they also sound like other symptoms as well.  Tests should be done to make sure you don't have something else equally wrong with you.

I am sorry this is so difficult - please go back to your GP and talk this over and get the doctor's opinion of what you should do next.  Don't give up on getting help and please don't wait a whole year .  - my best, Lulu
