eye color changing

I used to have bright blue eyes but now they are getting more of a gray color.

Does MS cause this? Mediciations?  Optic Neuritis?

I think I need to go get blue contacts!

Nothing to worry about, unless you are having eye pain, if you are, you should go see your family doctor so they can diagnose you.

On another note, when i was born I had blue eyes, as i grew up around a young age my blue eye color changed to hazal colored eyes.

My mom has/had brown eyes are hers are grey at the top. You can't really see it unless she pulls up the top eyelid.

She has been dx with RA, but remains un-dx'd for other autoimmune/neuro problem

And all her docs have no idea what is causing the color change.

Yup, eyes do change color as you get older.  Mine used to be more hazel - now they're more green.  Mom's eyes used to be hazel - now they're a light gray.

I have heard that some meds will change eye color.  One was on a TV add that said it could make your eye color change to brown. Don't remember what the drug was though.

I've noticed that those in my family with blue eyes have had them change with age.  Even my daughters have less intense blue in their eyes now than when they were babies.

I looked it up and eye color actually can change with age or disease.  Interesting.

Hi Wobbly,
I thought I was crazy when I noticed but my mom and sister both said they look gray now.

I don't know.  I am sure eye color does not change with age.  I wondered about the meds or maybe because I am so tired most of the time.

I know being tired would not change eye color but with most people you can see in their eyes when they are not feeling well.

Not sure why blue eyes would go gray.  I am going to google it and see what I can find.

You take care too!
