eye pain

has anyone had the sensation of someone sticking a pin in their eye? I keep getting a stabbing in the corner of my eye. New one, for me.

I GET THAT SENSATION IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE HAS A RED HOT NEEDLE
POKING AT THE BACK OF MY EYE ,LIKE ITS PUSHING MY EYE OUT

Oh yes.....that is exactly what my right eye feels like. I have had ON twice.  I'd get that checked out!

Instead of a pin in the eye feeling, I get a "shooting lightning out the eye" feeling through my eye. I have had this sensation off and on for probably a year, and I have no idea what it is, or what's causing it, although I did have a basic eye exam by an optometrist in June or July.
It sucks! LOL

I don't know what to say, I would suggest seeing a neuro-opthamologist, I have heard of other people having eye pain. Do you have floaters in the eye or high blood pressure?

i've had migraines before...not like this. subclinical on other eye. this is completely different.

  Have you been told you have optic neuritis? Or do you suffer from migraines? I get a sensation similar but it always ends up a migraine.
