heavy feet

I have had numbness on my left side for about 4 days.  My left foot is numb and my leg is really heavy.  I have not called my doctor becuase he usually says its stress related.  Im under no stress this time.  I am feeling some really bad feelings and not very good feelings about life and my family.  Do you think I should call the doctor on Monday.

I would definetely call the doctor.  Do you think that it's caused from stress, or can you for sure tell that there is something wrong?  However you answer this question is how you should go about getting treatment.  If you know something is really wrong, which is what I would assume, then I wouldn't take it's only stress for an answer.  If you think it is stress then I would get some meds for it.

Personally when someone describes symptoms like yours I really can't see it being stress related.  To me it automatically sounds neurological.  I don't know a thing about medical stuff so more than likely I don't have a clue what I'm talking about but that's the way I see things.

If your doctor tells you it is stress and you feel strongly that it's not, then go and find a doctor that will believe you when you tell him/her that you know something is wrong with your body.

I wish you well and please keep us informed with what they say.  If you just want to talk about things like life and family just let it rip because you can't find better people to listen and give advice than right here.

I'll be praying,
Carol
