help

Hello I have had facila twitching that strated in Dec 10 and lasted severly for about a month then it had come and gone in Marchh I started getting numbnessand tingling in my right hand and foot I have seen a neuro but he just said I had Carpelltunnel which I now know I do not have. I just strted seeing a new neuro and he is checking for ms again. I have forgotten that when I gave birth to my children that I did have some troubles afterwards. My first I could not walk on my right leg because of pain and numbness and my second I had tremors on my whole right side for about 2 weeks I did not think about tellin the doctors this until now and I won't see my new one unlesssomething shows up on my new mri. Should I contact the dr. I am scared that I do have ms or something neuro. And I am tried of being jerked around.

I have had a Mri of both my brain and cervical spine. I have strated going to a new neuro but I Get an MRI with him on the 13th and if it dont say anyting he doesnt want to see me for another six months. Meanwhile my body is going crazy.

I agree with Shell... Especially right after child birth or some other traumatic impact on your body... My symptoms started right after the birth of my 3rd child... Did your doctor do a MRI of the spine too or just the brain?  If it was just the brain you really need one of the spine also...

Like Shell said if your not getting the answers you need then move on to another doctor... A MS Specialist/Neurologist would be your best bet...

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry for what you are going through.

It never hurts to call your doctor when you are having new problems. If your MRIs are clear, and that's all the doctor is concerned with - move on to another doctor. MS is not the only thing that causes tingling and numbness - it shouldn't be the 1st thing on the docs mind.
