Hi. Inner ear infection? if he did not checked you, did he order some blood test to maintain or rule out his diagnosis of Inner ear infection?
It is true, there are many things that can give you light headeness and maybe vertigo, VOR problems, anemia (can give you dizziness and have many other symptoms) vitamin deficiencies and so on. MS will also do so but it is better to see a doctor that can start rulling out each condition that could be causing that before coming to a thought of MS. Make an appointment with your doctor and if not go to another one and get another set of ears and eyes to test you and see you. Good luck.
