internal shaking?

I know this probably sounds like a silly question. But here goes. !!!

I have been having internal shaking.  It is the weirdest thing.  I feel like my arms and legs are shaking, but when I look down they are not.  It happens alot lately, and I wondered if anyone else has this.  I do have a tremor on the right arm and it has been there off and on for 2 years or so.  But this is kinda new.

Also, anyone out there have a numb bladder?   I only know that I have to go pee because my pants get uncomfortable. I go, but it does not feel like I have really finished.  I sit and wait, to no avail.  Anyone else?

These things I am taking to my neuro on the 4 of Oct. and see what she says, but was wondering because it does seem to be adding up.

thanks, and my heart goes out to all of us out there, there is so many similiarities, and yet the Dr. say there is not.
I just don't get them,

take care everyone,
Candy

Hi and welcome to our little MS community,

You've unfortunately posted on the end of a very old 2010 thread, many of the community may not see your post, so if you'd like to start a new thread and introduce your self, there will probably be someone who will be able to offer some specific advice. :D

I had a quick search and neither Aubagio or Ampyra mention tremors as a known side effect, and with the possibility that the internal tremor is MS related, it's probably best to consult your neuro before trying your own side effect trials.......you might be absolutely right, but with out knowing for sure it's always a good idea with stopping and starting medications, to have your doctor involved.

Cheers..........JJ

For about 4 months I've been taking Ampyro to help with leg weakness, and Aubagio for control of brain legions. I was diagnosed 6 years ago with MS but this is the first medication Ive taken.
Since starting these meds I have had inner tremors mostly at night, notice it more if I am still. Tonight went out to eat with my son and it came on strong while I was eating. It's never been that strong and It scared me. Anyway I am thinking this is too much of a coincidence that these tremors did not start till the meds started. I am going to stop one of them to see if the tremors stop. If not, I'll stop the other and see what happens. Has anyone else been on these meds and had tremors?

Okay Moderator's --- remember when we spoke about random posts from days gone past showing up on the first page (with people posting to them) and someone informed me that it didn't happen (or wasn't suppose to?)

Here is an example. This was on the first page. No-one posted to it and it was pulled the first page. :)

I like your idea of the sugary things.  I have had that feeling for so many times, I think the same as you, low blood suger.  But it never was, so for me it is just a part of this damn disease.

The tremor I have on my right side, and in my right hand, and it is noticable.  The interal stuff is in my core ..... more like someones having a party in there, and I wasn't invited.   LOL

Sorry, trying to be light hearted here, had a few hard weeks, and I am kinda looking for a chuckle.

thanks for your input, it mneans alot,
take care,
candy

Hi Candy,

I thought i'd replied hours ago, lol must of forgotten to post, so i'll try again. I first felt the tremor long before i could see it, even when i did see it, i didn't think tremor, i was thinking hypoglycemia because thats what i'd been told i had.

Anyway time moved on, the tremor more obvious but still often invisible though i could still feel it. Then i accidentally discovered a way to show the tremor, i put a docket between my lips, i have no idea why I it did that but the docket was shaking. I think Quix told me dr's do the same thing, usually getting you to hold a peice of paper with your arm straight out, the paper should move with the tremor, invisible becomes visible, might be worth having a try.

Or you could do what i WAS doing, which was believe it is a drop in your sugar levels and stuff your face with something sweet and sugary, if it doesnt do anything for the tremor, oh well at least you'll be smiling now your hyper.lol :-)

Cheers.......JJ

HI Candy,

My wonderful MS neuro summed up the tremor issue for me. One, he said it is common, 2) if you feel it but no one else can , it's a sensory symptom and 3) if others see it is a motor symptom.

The numb bladder issue is covered with knowledge and wit by Quix in the Health Pages. Be sure to empty (or try to ) BEFORE you read it or you WILL wet your pants.

I hope things improve for you and you feel better soon.  Keep an eye on that urniary retention issue (numb bladder) and it can lead to more serious kidney issues down the road. Quix wrote four pages, Here's the link to the first one:

Feel better,
Ren

Candy- I know exactly what u mean about internal shaking. That was one of my first symptoms before my ms diagnosis. It drums to get even worse if I.get too hot, too cold, tired ot stressed but is often there for no apparent reason. My neuro told me its common in ms.

I don't have numb bladder but a friend who also has ms has that and days its very frustrating.

I don't know the cure but it is a part of ms. U aren't alone.:)
