leg & arm nerve pain ruled out spine

What are the possible neuro causes of nerve pain in the right leg & arm? I have had xray, mri, ct scan, been to ortho spec, pain spec, spine spec, and had EMG. Ruled out any problem in the spine or nerves. Have been referred for neuro work up to find trigger for nerve pain. Pain progressed over the past 8 months in dr. care from nighttime occasional pain in leg to now constant daytime and severe nighttime pain. Suffering sleep depravation as well. Deep aches in thigh, stabbing and burning around groin, hip, knee, down inner & outer shin. Also in right arm, elbow, stabbing in wrist and arm. Spine specialist assures all is healthy and normal in spine and nerves, nothing pinched according to EMG. Referred to neurologist for work up but cannot get in to him for 6 weeks. Dont know if I can last that long. What can be causing this?

That's a tough one - but since you've had all the tests, we're as much in the dark as you are!  Sorry - best of luck, and don't forget that you can talk to your doctor about pain management even if they don't know what's wrong.
