leg weaknes and sore throat

Im a 52 year old male , always been in very good health. i had a herniated disc and had an epidural injection done. A few days later i develped a sore throat and eventually weakness in my legs. This was a month ago. Ive tried all the traditional remedies and treated my symptoms as a cold or flu. My pain management Dr. told me my symptoms are not anything that may happen from the injection. When i wake in the morning, my legs feel so weak it hard to walk. Can anyone tell me waht this may be?

Hi Ron, and welcome to the Multiple Sclerosis forum. None of us are here officially as doctors or medical advisors - so we can't give you a diagnosis.  But from what you write here briefly, it doesn't sound like MS to me.  The sore throat definitely doesn't fit the picture.  

Could your legs be a symptom of your herniated disc pressing on the wrong nerves?  I would guess that the problem is something spinal, but that's just a guess.

Perhaps someone else here will also be willing to take a stab at this........
