making headway:o).

My MRI is now officially scheduled for the 19th at noon.  It's for the brain only and it's listed on the order that he's looking for vasculitis.  When I told the lady doing the scheduling that he said he was looking for MS, she said that yes, that's exactly what he's doing.  She said that between the blood tests and this MRI of my brain, it'll tell him what he needs to know.  I'm not sure now if the neuropsychological exam will be before or after I see the neuro again.  I've already been told that the blood tests were normal.  I guess that the lady that was working with me to get this scheduled had to do a good bit of tap dancing to get my insurance to let me have the closed MRI because they only had open MRI facilities listed as approved.  We'll see what happens, but hopefully, I'm closer to ending my time in limbo.

Good luck, and let us know how everything is going.  It's such a treacherous journey, this one to some kind of diagnosis.  I'm glad you got the MR machine you wanted.  Having to wrangle insurance companies with everything else going on is not fun!

Let us know what you find out.  Be well,
