mri pictures

Good Morning Everyone,

Well I had my mri done on tues. no results yet but I was able to look at the pics and I did not see ant white spots at all. Would I be able to see them if there were any? It was done with and without contrast.

Its best to let your neuro look at the films,white spots are active lesions,but theres indications they look for,past lesions ,widening ventricles,dawson fingers and atrophy

I'm always hesitant  to allow patient's to see their MRI's for one reason, what is normal anatomy to me could appear to be abnormal to a person with no teachings in the field.  

I've had to explain to many people what things are cuz they get scared when they see this big black area or bright white area...It is always best to go over your films with a physician so you don't get yourself worked up over nothing!
