Hi. I see no reason why a person with MS can not take Flagyl, an antibiotic.  If you are worried about drug interaction, be sure to talk to your pharmacist or doctor.

be well, Lulu

I may or may not have MS, I'm in Limboland.  So, take this with a grain of salt if necessary.  I took flagyl 15 years ago (after MS-type symptoms were well underway) and it completely wiped me out during the days I was taking it.  I could do nothing but lie on the bed and grope my way to the bathroom.  I had no energy at all for those days.

But, after that was finished I actually felt better.  Doc thought I had perhaps picked up giardia on a trip to Boundary Waters.

I am usually wiped out by antibiotics, but flagyl was worse than most.

Not sure if this is what you meant, but this was one woman's experience, for whatever it is worth.

Yes, a  MS patient can take Flagyl as long as you check with your pharmacist for drug interactions with any other drugs you are taking. I have taken 2 rounds of it and never had a problem.
