Lesions on the spinal cord in the neck area is generally associated with MS.  Yes, you can have both and since they are both autoimmune, you can have several of these illnesses.  I'm not a doctor, live with a wife who was diagnosed with Lupus, Epilepsy, MS, Sjorgrens, Hyperthyroidism and not sure of what else.  Many of the folks in our MS Support Group have arthiritis as well.
