multiple flu shots

There should be no ill effects from that.  The first flu shot would rev up the immune system.  The second would probably not stimulate it that much more.  If you have MS, either the 1st or the 2nd could prompt a little exacerbation, but it is better than getting the flu or suffering the bigger exacerbation that the real flu can cause.

You wouldn't want to get many unnecessary repeats of any vaccination.  In the times when people were supposed to get a tetanus shot every year and additional ones with injuries we did see some side effects after some people had received many of them.  But a single repeat flu vaccine should not be a problem.
