Isn't that annoying???  One of my first paresthesias was the sensation of warm water dripping down the inside of my right thigh.  It is SOOO hard not to grab yourself when you think you may have pee'd yourself.  That was in the days before I regularly did so.

I think the sensation is one of a change in temp combined with a sensation of movement - like some people will feel things crawling on them.  It is a paresthesia.  Do you feel it mostly on one side??

What you are experiencing is a very common type of paresthesia - a wrong sensation from a sensory nerve.

Have you read

Yes I paresthsias were some of my first symptoms. I had the feeling like Quiz of water running down inner thigh and also that warm liquid was running from top of head. Mine seem to jump around. Some days I keep swatting at legs as feels like ants are crawling on me. I think maybe I am finally beginning to just accept them.

A few years ago I felt water on my feet, like someone had a watering can and they were just pouring it on my toes. That went away but it was very frustrating.  Last week the back of my leg was wet, or so I thought. It was perfectly dry.

Quixotic..thank you for that link. Very helpful.

I have been experiencing a wet chin sensation for a week now, and decided to google it. My chin is never wet! I came across your post and everything here.  I don't know if I have MS, all I know is that I have symptoms that may point to it, or other immune diseases.  I have a cousin who died of MS and my sister has mixed connective tissue disorder or well thats been her latest diagnosis.  She has been wanting to be checked for MS but says her drs don't think she has it.  That being said, the news of a cousin dying of it and even having it is new to us (family we recently found)  Anyway, everywhere I have looked, I only find early symptoms of MS but nothing like waaaay early.  Can anyone tell me what was the first thing they felt?  I am uninsured so I can't just go to the dr for every test.  I have just recently started documenting my sensations and stuff.  Up until recently, I have just thought, "this must be normal" but now I am starting to link things together and its making me concerned.  Can anyone help?

I've felt the wetness down my leg too, just once.  I thought oh my god I can't even feel myself peeing myself!  When in reality it was just something I felt but wasn't happening!

Welcome to the group here. I'm glad you found us and we'll try to answer your questions.

Be sure to start them as a new discussion so everyone notices your questions.  As for very early signs of MS, that is a tough one.  We are all so different in our medical history.  For me dizziness and being off balance was probably the earliest symptoms I had (which I ignored!).

See you around, Lulu

I have poor balance, when I close my eyes. I realized it during church prayer. I would have my eyes closed and have to grab on to my husband as I was rocking back and forth.
