I agree with Heather. This does sound like an allergy.
I was never allergic to peanuts until Nov. I bought a can of peanuts and started to wheeze, by the time I got home my lips and tongue were swollen. Then Christmas Eve my hubby took me out to eat. I was never allergic to shrimp will it happened again. This time my stomach broke out in a rash.
My dr said you know what to do. STAY AWAY FROM PEANUTS AND SHRIMP.
Hope hubby feels better.

Swelling in the lips, tongue and feet, does not sound like a symptom of MS, but rather caused by something else.  It really does sound like it is an alergy to something.  Think hard about whether he has been exposed to something different lately.  Sometimes we are and don't really think about it, until we sit down and start analayzing where we have been and what we have been doing.

My better half suffers from all kinds of allergies and this very much sounds like what he suffers from.

I hope that you are keeping his doctor informed.  There has to be a cause.

Hope your hubby feels better soon...
