Hi ! I don't really know anything about MS. I was looking for info for a friend.
But your question caught my eye.
Interestingly enough, it sounds exactly like what my daughter use to get-----they were some sort of seizure related to her mild epilepsy.I say mild, because she has only had a few major seizures in her life .
Please be assured--- I'm not suggesting that you might have epilepsy---I'm just pointing out an interesting observation.
Hope all goes well with you !
Yeah, it's terrible. Mostly because you're always afraid that you're drooling, or that you're going to spit on somebody. With good reason - when the left side of my mouth was numb, I kept having problems with that side closing properly. I think the worst part was that I kept biting that part of my lip, because I couldn't feel whether it was between my teeth or not.
This is one symptom I have never had, thank goodness!!
I know that there are others here that have had this problem, I remember another post or two about this.
I'm sure others will pop on here and let you know their opinions on this.
Take care and I hope this goes away soon, doesn't sound like a very comfortable symptom.

I get it too. Lips, tongue, uvula, eyelids, cheeks. Once it happened in Panera's while I was eating soup. That was a strange experience. It has never hurt.
HTH,

I get that quite often...mine is usually on the right side of my mouth...top side sometimes bottom... I get used to it after awhile...I don't find it sore though.
