HI, KITT.  USUALLY THE TERM "POSITIVE" MEANS THAT THE TEST WAS ABNORMAL, SO IT WOULD INDICATE THAT THE TEST SHOWED OPTIC NEURITIS.

BUT SOME DOCTORS SAY "NORMAL" AND "ABNORMAL".  A "NEGATIVE" EVOKED POTENTIAL TELLS ME THAT ALL WAS OKAY AND A "POSITIVE" THAT THERE WAS AN ABNORMALITY.

THIS IS MOST LIKELY WHAT IT MEANS.  HOPE THIS HELPS.  HOW ARE YOU FEELING?  YOU WERE HAVING A REAL LOW PERIOD WHEN I WENT OUT SICK LAST WEAK AND WONDERING ABOUT YOUR DIAGNOSIS.  WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THAT?

YOU HAD A DOCTOR QUESTION YOUR DIAGNOSIS DIDN'T YOU?  DID YOU SEE SOMEONE ELSE?
