prayers please

Tomorrow I'm having surgery on my left knee. I'm not really worried about the surgery, just worried about the findings.

My Orthopedic doc keeps mentioning RA.  I already have MS and am hypothyroid.  I don't need anything else.  Unfortunately my moms side of the family has a long history with it.

So I'm asking for some prayers, and maybe it'll turn out much simpler!

Thanks,
Laura

Laura,
I'll be lifting you in prayer and I pray for  God speed on your recovery thru this and I'll be praying the Lord will guide the surgeons as to what they need to do and for all those who will have contact w/you during this.

Prayers and blessings for strength and healing!

Hugs,
Tammy:)

Good luck with the knee surgery. I went through one about 1.5 years ago.

Why the surgery if you don't mind my asking? Mine was for torn cartilage.

My cartilage is very brittle due to Sjogren's so I have Hypothyroid, MS, and Sjogren's.

will hold you in our thoughts and will light a candle/lay a feather for you.
keep us posted on how you do.  Can't RA be determined by blood test?
hope all goes well and you have a speedy recovery!

My MRI was clean, so they don't know what's wrong.  It could be just cartilage, but I have a knot on my kneecap and it buzzes, shifts, and painfully pops.

There are blood tests for RA, but they can give false positives. So if he finds nothing but inflamed tissue or inflamed tendons he'll biopsy it and send it off to determine what the cause is which eviatable would be RA.

Thanks for all the thoughts,
Laura

I meant to say that the blood test for RA can give false negatives!
