I have been diagnosed with RRMS as well and my first treatment was Rebif. I was on it for 6 months and I had rampant side effect as well as a HUGE increase in my depression. When I notified my Dr. he immediately took me off Rebif for 30 days, and started me on Copaxone. Copaxone has had numerous studies and all the studies proved that Copaxone doesn't increase anxiety.
I urge you to let you Dr. know about this as soon as possible, because Rebif continued to make my depression worse even with an increase in my anti-depressant. I was having very unhealthy thoughts and they just continued to get worse.
Unfortunately with Copaxone the injections are daily. I'd rather inject daily then deal with the Rebif side effects and increase in depression! I have been on Copaxone for a week already and the ONLY side effect I have had is injection site stinging. No fever, No sweats, No fatigue, No muscle pain, and No other flu like symptoms.
I hope things get better for you soon!
Take Care!

hi babyboy1016,
Sorry i'm a limbo lander so cant help with the rebif q's but i didn't like you hanging with out some response so thought i'd tell you to call the MS nurse for help, that is if you havent already. I think depression is a common sx of MS as it is but if this is new to you and coincides with the new medication then it is something you need to speak to your dr about, just in case.
Cheers......JJ
