relapses

can anyone talk about history of relapse, for example when you first present with symptoms the completely go away go a couple yrs feel fine have another relapse goes away, basically is there periods of fairly normal health in between relapses fo most and do the continually gradually get closer together say 2 yrs to 1 tr to 5 mos as it progresses or can you turn it from a 2 yr to a 3 yr+ or more relapse?

I commented in another post that there is no telling how long a relapse would be as in my case I had no symptoms from onset in 1961 and was perfectly healthy until 1998.  I do believe that my symptoms of weakness on my left side was a direct result of a traumatic and stressful hip replacement - and my doctors agree.  I will never know for sure, now, if it was due to that but it is most likely. The hip replacement was in 2004 and my moto symptoms started exactly one year later.

I HAVN'T HAD A CHANCE TO WELCOME YOU,WELCOME.

RELAPSES OCCUR DIFFERENTLY IN ALL OF US.

MY FIRST MS ATTACK WAS IN 1998,I DIDN'T HAVE ANOTHER ATTACK UNTIL 2004,WHICH THROUGH THAT TIME PERIOD I WAS NOT ON ANY MEDS.

IN THE LAST YEAR I HAD HAD 4 RELAPSES,RELAPSES CAN OCCUR IN EACH OF US DIFFERENTLY,THEY CAN BE BROUGHT OUT BY TRAUMA,STRESS,OR NEW LESIONS,IT DEPENDS ON THE INDIVIDUAL.

I DON'T KNOW IF THIS HELPS AT ALL
