I'M GONNA HOLD YOU TO YOUR PROMISE ABOUT GOING TO THE ER,THIS ALL NEEDS TO BE DOCUMENTED.

Elaine - I go spend another night ont he 14th to have my lovely headgear fitted and titrated. I saw one when I was there for the test - just too sexy;) I also have had several clients who use c-pap. Not looking forward to it, but if it will help my fatigue, I'm up for anything. I am soooo tired all the time.
Heather - I do solemnly swear to go to the ER next time my balance is as bad as it was Sunday. It's trying tonight, but still not that bad. I'm still functioning. Besides missing work tomorrow is out of the question. I have a hugely important meeting in the morning.
I know not to disobey the den mother, lol. My noggin's pretty tough though - youngest of 6 kids tough!

I agree with T...those goose eggs are none too pretty and it's a bit early to call you the "Cadbury Bunny."
I know how you feel about the ER. Being "dismissed" is worse than sitting in the waiting room with all those people that should have seen their family doctor for the sniffles, days before. The ER is one of those places I would never go to unless it was serious enough to go by ambulance. That's the only way you would be seen in my area anyway. I live in Charlottesville, VA and it's tough to get into an ER around here. So I totally understand where you are coming from. I went in a few months ago, for a possible brain bleed and was left sitting in the waiting room for 2 1/2 hours. Stupid me, should have gone by ambulance. By the time I got to see a doctor, I was ready to give that "triage nurse" a goose egg on her head.....
But listen to our "den mother." She knows best. PERIOD! Stop being so stubborn girlfriend. And leave the CadburyBunny stuff to the Easter bunny; that's his job....
Big HUGS with no bumps on the noggin'

So sorry to hear of your sleep apnea. You will have to let us know what the device you have to wear is like.
I can understand your hesitation about going to the E.R. I know I am a dissenting opinion, but the emergency rooms here do not really interact with PCP unless someone is admitted. It is kind of a dead end.
Keep us posted.
Elaine
OK, gee thanks - you guys are supposed to be on MY side:( Well, I won anyway. Did not go; went to bed instead before I got to read your reponses, which do make my side of the argument sound pretty lame. Sooooo next time I am that bad I promise I will go (hope DH didn't hear that; might get the idea that I'm not always right afterall, lol).
A little better today, exhausted though.
So I am thinkin gof having my name legally changed to Job (that's with a long O, as in the Bible). Today my PCP office called to tell me that aside from the seismic spasm, my sleep study also found moderate sleep apnea. So in a couple weeks I'm off to get headwear even more attractive than Quix's salad tongs;) It just seems to keep piling up. Looking for 1 thing and finding 4 others so far.
I asked what doc thought of the ON Dx, and the office manager said "I don't know if he's seen those yet. Things come in and just get scanned into the computer". I had specifically called and faxed in about this coming. Good grief - will it never end? Comedy of errors. She'll tell him to look. Surely that should be enough for HIM to write a script for a new MRI! He keeps saying we need to repeat; it's been over a year. What more do we need? Done whining. Thanks for listening.

Here's my thoughts....
If you're going through the diagnostic process, and are not currently dx, then you should go to the ER, and here's why!
You want to make a point of having everything that could be a relapse documented. That way, if your MRI comes back "abnormal", you're having your attacks documented, and with the McDonald Criteria, they want you to have 2 documented attacks.
Look at it as an aide in getting a firm dx if that MRI comes back with lesions!
Good luck in the ER ;)

OUR DEN MOTHER HAS SPOKEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I know the feeling you are describing all too well. Mine resulted in 2 CONCUSSIONS that made everything worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Go have it documented! See if they can give you something like Phenergan for the dizziness and nausea.
