spasms v tremors, ants & heat

Hi all, for those in limboland and those with a dx,
It seems my doctors are going to diagnose me with FHM (Familial Hemiplegic Migraine) but I am not overly convinced of this just yet.  While it does explain some and many symptoms it doesnt explain my most recent ones.

I have been having these strange spasms or tremors that are uncontrollable and can last hrs, just on my left side only, in my arm and my lower leg.  Last night while laying down in bed watching tv it was the worst it had ever been, it was also kinda pulsating this feeling, not a twinge, but its like a very fast shaking inside near muscle.

My left leg  felt like it was on fire, burning and it actually sweated and i had to keep that leg out from the blankets as it was just so hot.  I also have been having the sensation of something like a whole pile of ants crawling up and down my left leg, sometines I go down to wipe what I think is a spider or something on my leg and nothings ever there but now the sensation is getting stronger like lots of little tiny ants.

Someone used the term of water droplets on head, thats another thing thats happening, but its just all left sided.  I have absolutely no migraine or headache or auras happening with this.

My muscle pain & weakness is getting stronger and thats with or without migraine.

My general physician appt is next Frid. I will get a referal to a neuro but these new symptoms are driving me silly and was wondering what you all thought?

Waiting on bloods, will get some results tomorrow, all tests so far normal, had MRI brain and spine without contrast all clear, lumbar, all clear.

I get the vibrating feeling in my legs... like an engine running is how i describe it.  I also gt pins and needle feelings.  Mine is mostly right sided but also on the left side too.  I'm not diagnosed either. Maybe soon I hope.... good luck with your pursuits! Hope they figure it out!

I am without an agreed dx, (MS probable with one doc/different with another) currently working on another opinion.

I have had the sensation that you are talking about...feels like someone is dropping cool water on my skin.  I wish I could help you out with an explaination for this.  (I have neglected to tell my neuro.)

Just wanted to let you know that you weren't alone

Well all my blood work came back normal, thyroid fine, lupus ruled out, b12 good, everything all normal. I am pleased about that but it brings me no closer to finding out whats happening and as I said I am not totally convinced its FHM.
Working on my timeline, getting ready to do battle with my physician next Frid.
Having a good day today.

Wanted to add more on describing this feeling in my leg, its like an electrical current, mixed with tingling mixed with a crawling like sensation.  I dont have an itch or rash with it, it comes on with burning heat feeling sometimes too.

I am curious on if anyone else gets this and how best to describe this feeling to my docs next week?  And if its a tremor or a spasm I am having in my arm.  I'm just no good at describing things.

Cheers
PS RIP Heath Ledger, Australia has lost one of its finest actors.
