tongue problems

This might seem like an odd question, but, has anyone had their tongue go  numb, just in the middle of the whole tongue, and wavy sides ( kinda like the sides of a shell) , that is what is happening on me.... with red little bumps on the side too.  Both sides of my tongue are wavy and red, I took some benadryl and it does not seem to help......

Just wondering,
???

Hi Candy-Girl,

I've not had it, but the bumps and wavy makes me think canker sores of some sort. Have you tried some salt water, or peroxide and water? Are they painful?

Cant say I have had this happen. My lips go numb. Have you checked side effects on meds you are taking? I would call your doctor too just to make sure it isn't something that you should be seen for.
